Services for Mr. Morgan

The Central Office Administration Team is deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of Superintendent Michael A. Morgan Sunday morning after a sudden illness. Mr. Morgan was a dedicated professional who served the communities of SAU16 with pride for the last nine years. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael Church, corner of Front and Lincoln Streets in Exeter NH, Friday at 11 AM.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may visit with the family Thursday from 5-8 PM at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter NH.  Family flowers only.  If desired donations may be made to End 68 Hours of Hunger, 7 Finn Avenue, Newfields, NH 03856 or the St. Vincent de Paul Society, P.O. Box 176, Exeter, NH 03833.  Private burial will be in Berlin NH.

New Exeter High School Assistant Principal Selected

Ms. Catherine (Cathy) Clermont, currently the Interim Assistant Principal at Exeter High School (EHS) has been selected as the new Assistant Principal at EHS.  Prior to assuming her current role, Ms. Clermont served as a Health/Physical Education Teacher at the Cooperative Middle School (CMS) for seven years before becoming the school’s LEA administrator in July 2015.  Prior to coming to SAU16, she worked at Lin-Wood Public School in Lincoln (2003-2008) and Profile High School in Bethlehem (1997-2003).  She has distinguished herself as the Class S Athletic Director of the Year for 2007-2008 and the NH Teacher of the Year for Adaptive Physical Education in 2014-2015.

Ms. Clermont is replacing Mr. John LeSage who is retiring after serving 35 years in the Exeter Region Cooperative School District.
